Linksys SRW224G4P

Linksys SRW224G4P , 24-Port Managed Gigabit Switch with WebView and PoE .
24-Port Managed Gigabit Switch with WebView and PoE ,(24) 10/100 ports + (2) shared Gigabit combo ports + (2) Gigabit uplink ports

The Linksys WebView Managed switch allows you to expand your network securely. Configuration of the switch is secured using SSL for Web access. User control is secured using 802.1x security using a RADIUS authentication mechanism and can also be controlled using MAC filtering. Extensive QoS features makes the solution ideal for real-time applications like Voice and Video. The 4 priority queues together with the Weighted Round Robin and Strict Priority scheduling techniques facilitate efficient co-existence of real-time traffic with data traffic allowing them each to meet their QoS needs. Individual users or applications can be prioritized above others using various Class of Service options - by port, layer 2 priority (802.1p), and Layer 3 priority (TOS or DSCP). Intelligent Broadcast, and Multicast storm control minimizes and contain the effect of these types of traffic on regular traffic. IGMP Snooping limits bandwidth-intensive video traffic to only the requestors without flooding to all users. Incoming traffic can be policed and outgoing traffic can be shaped allowing you to control network access and traffic flow.

There are features that allow you to expand and grow your network of switches. Link aggregation allow multiple high-bandwidth trunks between switches to be setup. This also provides a level of reliability in that the system continues to operate if one of the links break. Spanning Tree (STP), Fast Spanning Tree, and Rapid Spanning Tree (RSTP) allow you to build a mesh of switches increasing the availability of the system.

The rich management functionality of the WebView switches includes SNMP, RMON, Telnet, and HTTP Management options, allowing you to flexibly integrate and manage these devices in your network.

Automatic Load Sensing - Power control circuitry automatically detects Power over Ethernet on access point before providing power. Power feeding of Ethernet limited for fixed 10/100 Base-T/TX ports. The solution can provide maximum output power per PoE port up to 15.4W on 24 ports simultaneously. Independent overload and short-circuit protection for each port. LED indicators for power status per PoE port. Support IEEE802.3af MIB for power over Ethernet function. SSC-32 servo controller

The SSC-32 (serial servo controller) is a small preassembled servo controller with some big features. It has high resolution (1uS) for accurate positioning, and extremely smooth moves. The range is 0.50mS to 2.50mS for a range of about 180°. The motion control can be immediate response, speed controlled, timed motion, or a combination. A unique "Group Move" allows any combination of servos to begin and end motion at the same time, even if the servos have to move different distances. This is a very powerful feature for creating complex walking gaits for multi servo walking robots. The servo's position or movement can be Queried to provide feedback to the host computer. There is even a 12 servo Hexapod sequencer built in. This allows complete control of all aspects of the alternating tripod gait simply by transferring a few values from the host controller. Any output can be used as a TTL level output. There are 4 digital inputs that are static or latched, so you don't have to worry about missing a short event. They can also be used as analog inputs. There are three terminal blocks for powering options. The DB9 input has true RS-232 levels for use with a PC.

KHR 3HV Humanoid Robot Kit

Kondo Kagaku has released the brand new KHR-3HV, a new design, a new frame, new servo interface, much more DOF, a new stylish robot that will dramatically change once more. The base robot includes 17 servos (DOF) + 5 Dummy servos that allow for easy expansion up to 22 DOF. The robot is assembled from the start with the 22 servos in place (17+5), a feature unique in the Humanoid market. The dummy servos can be progressively replaced with real servos to make for up to 22 DOF.

The long arms and legs (achieved with the use of 22 servos) make for the tallest KHR ever, with an exceptional performance. Another advantage of using 22 servo cases from the beginning is that all gaits you develop and create will still perform sucessfully as you upgrade to 22 DOF.

RCB-4HV and ICS 3.0
The new micro controller board RCB-4 enables the control of up to 35 serial servos.
It is compatible with ICS3.0 (serial) servo protocol and a wide range of options parts. The board also includes several extension ports (10x A/D and 10x PIO) which enable the use of a wide range of sensors and extension options.

KHR 3HV uses KRS-2555HV servos, the first Kondo servo to use ICS 3.0. The use of a serial protocol allows the connection of several servos in a Daisy chain. By connecting in a Daisy chain the number of cables is very reduce and therefore prevents troubles regarding disconnection and improves cable routing.

KRS-2555HV Servo Specs:
* Maximum Operating Angle 270º
* Maximum Holding Torque 14kgf.cm (11.1V)
* Speed 0.14s/60º (11.1V, under no load)
* Size 41x21x30.55 mm
* Weight 41.5g
* Operating Voltage 9V~12V

New Frame
A design to ease and to smooth the folding of the knee has been enhanced. Thanks to the new design, the robot can retract and stand up faster from a sitting pose. The use of materials such as aluminium, polycarbonate and ABS with incorporation of Glass allow for lighter yet robust frames.

Improved Angles and Servo Arms
Thanks to the strengthened servo arms, the robot is more resistant to shocks and thus become a real ally during robot competitions.

Body Cover
The main frame cover is made out a light ABS plastic. It is easy to change to another body frame for customization and modding. Thanks to the slim body, the user can handle the robot more easily.

Dummy Servos
The robot comes fitted with five dummy servos in strategic places for extension (chest/torso, arms) and is assembled with these static servos in place for the first minute to build the robot's tall and slim figure. You simply need to replace the dummy servo with the optionally available KRS-2552HV servos for added DOF. This new faculty enables the user to easily add new degrees of freedom and set up new capabilities for the robot.

Servo Head
The new design of the servo head makes it possible to assemble it naturally to the shoulder. It is meant to give the robot a more intrepid style.

Bath tub Sole
The new design of the sole gives a more secure walk.

Maintenance
The new design of the back pack enables an easier maintenance of the robot. The user will be able to easily add sensors and motors.

Battery
A nickel battery 10.8V-800mAh has been included. With the "fast charger" included the battery takes only one hour to charge.

Scribbler 2 Robot

The S2 robot is suitable for a whole variety of programming skills. The Scribbler robot arrives pre-programmed with eight demo modes, including light-seeking, object detection, object avoidance, line-following, and art. Place a Sharpie marker in the pen port and it will scribble as it drives. Next, use the Graphical User Interface (S2 GUI) tile-based programming tools, or modify the Propeller source code in our BASIC-like Spin language. Through the use of third-party tools you can also program the S2 on a Mac or under Linux, in PropBASIC and C (resources for these languages will follow the release). The S2 is fully compatible with the Georgia Tech IPRE Fluke, too.
The S2 GUI is backward-compatible with the original S1 GUI. However, coders will use Spin for the Propeller instead of PBASIC as they did for the BASIC Stamp in the S1. Our examples will make the transition easy. The benefits and flexibility of Spin in multi-core systems provides easy compartmentalization of S2 subroutines that run concurrently with shared memory. Controlling motors, managing sensors, and interfacing with the hacker port can be done concurrently even while playing sound; the Propeller makes it all possible.

TRF 2.4G, wireless module

The TRF 2.4G (TRW2.4G GFSK Transceiver)Offer following benefits:
  • Higly reduced current consumption
  • Lower system cost (facilitaties use of less expensive microcontroller)
  • Greatly reduces risk of 'on-air' collision due to short transmission time
  • Power consumption 1.9-3.6VDC
  • 2.4-2.524GHz ISM working frequency range
  • GFSK Modulation
  • Built in Patch antenna
  • FIFO MCU interface
  • ready on use shockburst mode
  • data rate 250Kbps or 1Mbps
  • 125 Channel operation /Multi Channel, support frequency hopping
  • 280 meters range distance at 250Kbps, line of sight.

The TRF 2.4 G can be programmed using a simple 3 wire interface where the data rate is decided by the speed of the microcontroller. By allowing the digital part of the application to run at low speed while maximizing the data rate on the RF link, The nRF SHOCKBURST tm, mode reduces the average current consumption in application considerably. The  SHOCKBURST tm, technology use on chip FIFO to clock in data at low data rate and transmit at very high rate (1MBps) at 2.4GHz band,  thus enabling extermely power reduction
